Blaze Media Reports: It wasn’t that long ago that Twitter was owned by Jack Dorsey and operated by leftists who loved nothing more than to give the boot to anyone who diverged from the accepted narrative, which, of course, was handcrafted by Democrats. As a result, many conservatives were kicked off the platform and effectively prevented from sharing their ideas.
However, that all changed when Elon Musk purchased the company and lifted the ban on sharing conservative thoughts and opinions.
Musk recently joined Joe Rogan on "The Joe Rogan Experience," and the subject of Twitter’s dark days was one topic of conversation.
“From the standpoint of some of the people who used to be at Twitter,” Musk said, there’s been “a big shift to the right.”
“That is correct. It is a shift to the right because everything is to the right if you’re far-left,” he explained, “but how many far-left people have been suspended or banned from Twitter, now X? Zero.”
Further, “the degree to which Twitter was simply an arm of the government was not well understood by the public,” Musk told Rogan, adding that “a state publication is the way to think of old Twitter.”
