Summary:

On the eve of World War II, a British widow hires a self-taught archaeologist to dig up mysterious formations on her land, leading to a staggering find.

"The Dig" (2021) is a British historical drama film based on a true story. Set in the late 1930s, the film follows the excavation of Sutton Hoo, an Anglo-Saxon burial site in Suffolk, England.
