In this sitcom, rising film star Vince Chase, a 'jeune premiere' from humble origins, navigates the business and high-profile world of the wealthy elite in Hollywood. But he doesn't do it alone. Vince brings along his atypical entourage from his native New York, a close-knit circle of childhood friends rather than glitterati or professionals. His professional agent often finds his job more difficult because Vince’s Queens boys not only rely on him for financial support but also have his ear, making Vince harder to counsel and manage.

Vince chooses his best friend from home, Eric, to be his manager, while hiring seasoned LA professional Ari Gold as his agent. Throughout the series, the group evolves from being kids from Queens to taking on new roles as actors and producers. Together, they chase the funding and support necessary to make the perfect movie for Vince, navigating the challenges of the film industry while holding onto their deep-rooted friendship.
